On the hunt for some new summer makeup? The new Lise Watier Rivages Summer 2015 collection is a great place to start.
When I opened this bronzer powder I instantly fell in love. Check out those beautiful swirls of brown, pink and gold! I kindof have a bronzer obsession so I was happy to discover that this one has some great colour to it.
If you’re into the coral/orange cheeks for the beach, you will love the Blush Fondant Supreme. The cream to powder blush makes it really easy to apply on the go.
I tested out the Luminous Foundation and found that it has great coverage while also feeling lightweight – another bonus for summer use.
The Rouge Sublime lip shades aren’t one’s that I would normally wear, but both looked cute when paired with a natural look.
This eye-palette is awesome. I don’t wear alot of colour on my lids so this palette is one I will actually use. It’s great for creating natural & smokey looks.
When I first started using Moroccanoil hair products I instantly became obsessed with the fragrance. The products have such a delicious scent that I found myself wishing I could literally bathe in a vat of it. I guess I’m not the only one, since Moroccanoil has now put out a line of body products.
I tested out the new Fleur de Rose lineup and I’m now just as obsessed with the body products as I was with the hair products. If you’re a fan of the smell of roses you will LOVE this lineup. They products feel really luxurious. I felt like I had just been to the spa without having left my shower.
The Fleur de Rose lineup features a Cleansing Bar, Body Buff, Body Souffle, Body Butter, and Hand Cream.
The Body Buff was my favourite. A gentle exfoliating scrub that left my skin baby soft. It features argan oil blended with sesame, grape seed, avocado and sweet almond oils. The Body Souffle smells delicious and was very light and hydrating. The Body Butter is like a thick balm if you like a thicker moisturizer. I’d recommend the Body Souffle for summer and the Body Butter for winter when you’re skin is more dry.
The body products also come in an orange scent and the original Moroccanoil hair product scent. My next mission is to try out the original Moroccanoil scent. It also comes in a candle so that your whole house can smell like Moroccanoil! Mmmmmmm! Yes, please!
Launching June 26th, is the newest creation from Benefit Cosmetics: They’re Real! Mascara & Liner in colourful shades. The mascara will now come in brown and blue options and the gel liners will be introduced in blue, green, purple and brown.
Are you a fan of coloured mascaras and liners? Personally, I don’t like wearing coloured eyeshadow so I love the idea to adding some colour with a mascara or a liner. It really can enhance your eye colour in a new way. It’s also a fun way to change up your makeup look in subtle ways, like mixing and matching blue mascara with purple liner.
For those of you who weren’t impressed with the original They’re Real! gel liners, the formula has now been updated to go on smoother and creamier. I also like that the shades aren’t too bright so that they are wearable for daytime as well.
