A little black dress is essential for the holiday season because it’s inevitable that you’ll be attending many fancy occasions and it’s also inevitable that you’ll be stuck with nothing to wear at one point or another. I always have an LBD on standby that is figure flattering and can be paired with just about anything – coat, tights, scarf, cape or a cute blazer. There’s so many ways to mix and match so even if you are going to be seeing the same people at some of the parties, they’ll never notice that you’re wearing the same outfit.

This LBD below is from one of my favourite stores, Ever New and it’s the most perfect little black dress that I’ve ever owned. Seriously, this fringe is next level. The beautiful coat and clutch are also from Ever New. I’ve written about Ever New on here many times before, ever since they opened a location at the Toronto Eaton Centre. However, since they only had locations in Toronto and BC I felt bad that the rest of Canada couldn’t experience them. Well, that is all about to change! They are about to launch an ecommerce website and all of Canada will be able to discover all of the things I love about Ever New! I always say “I could buy the whole store” because it’s one of those stores where you walk in and you literally fall in love with everything. Not great news for your wallet, but fantastic news for your wardrobe 🙂

With winter quickly approaching, I’m so excited about this next collaboration! I’m someone who gets ridiculously cold in the winter. It won’t even be very cold out, but I’ll be shivering like a leaf. I’m really not cut out for winter at all, but alas it’s unavoidable when you live in Canada. To help me survive the cold, I rely heavily on warm winter coats. This one below is going to be my saving grace this winter.

Check out that faux fur hood! I love a big, oversized hood so that I can completely hide from the wind and snow. There’s nothing worse than that wind burn feeling when it’s minus 40 out. I love that this coat is super warm while still being figure flattering. You don’t have to sacrifice style for warmth. Also, Noize coats are water protected and have vegan leather detailing. The faux fur on the polar fleece lined hood is also removable! I also love that the pockets are lined with fleece so you can keep warm even without your gloves. Pink and grey is my forever favourite colour combination. I especially love it in the fall when I can pair a cozy pink sweater with a beautiful grey coat. These two below will be on repeat all fall/winter. I haven’t taken this coat off since I got it. It’s so warm and comfortable! It’s hard to find nice looking coats that that actually keep you warm, but this one does the trick!

I also love the unique design of this sweater. Check out that floral lace detailing on the back. It’s currently on sale for $50!

Can I also mention how much I love all of the pink items that pop up in October for breast cancer awareness month? A friend told me that Jimmy’s Coffee had pink lids this month and we instantly planned a trip to visit. Not only do the pink items support a great cause, but they also feed my obsession in the best way possible. Have you spotted any limited-edition pink items this month yet?
