The new State of Gold holiday collection from Dior is basically every gold-lovers dream. This is one collection you won’t be stashing away in any makeup bag. It’s totally display-worthy. Plus, there’s something for everyone. Into red? You’ll love the nail polish in 991 Mystere and the lipstick in 750 Fabuleuse. Love wearing pink? You’ll definitely want the lipsticks in 430 Radieuse and 770 Fantasique. Wanting to add some shimmer and shine for the holidays? The Dior Addict Gloss in 322 Sparkle and Dior Diorific Vernis in 951 Passion are a must! Really loving these eye palettes too.

To me, this collection hits on all of my must-haves when it comes to a holiday collection: gold, shimmer, glitter and pops of pink and red.

The First Benefit Boutique in Canada Launches in Toronto

We finally have a Benefit Boutique all to ourselves! The very first Benefit Boutique in Canada has now opened on Yonge Street in Toronto and I couldn’t be happier. If they’d let me, I would pack my bags and move into this adorable pink heaven. It’s everything you could ever want in a beauty boutique – makeup everywhere, pink covered walls, darling vanities and even a bright pink bench out front.

Besides the decor, I have three other reasons why I’m in love:

1. The Brow Bar – If you haven’t tried out a Benefit Brow Bar yet (either at the boutique or at Sephora) then you MUST. We’ve all had some terrible brow experiences. I myself have fallen victim (more times than I’d like to admit) to being in a rush and going into the nearest place offering brow waxes. And even though I tell the esthetician EXACTLY how I want my brows, they end up ignoring my direction and completely butchering my brows. Now that thicker brows are the style, I’ve worked hard to grow them out and develop the perfect arch. I’ve vowed to never again trust my brows to a place that I don’t know. Which is why I’m sticking with Benefit Brow Bars. Their brow experts are put through extensive training and they know how to measure your brows to create the perfect shape for your own individual face shape. It really makes all the difference in the world.

2. The Spray Tan – I have a bit of a spray tan obsession, so when I learned that the new Benefit Boutiques offer spray tanning I was ALL over it. The results were amazing.  Forget anything bad you’ve ever heard about spray tans (uneven results, orange tones, etc), the formula they use leaves you with a bronzed goddess air-brushed look. Plus, they also sell an amazing tanning mouse that provides the same results as the spray tan so that you can keep your tan up at home in between your spray tans. I’ve tried other at-home tanners and nothing comes close to this. Minimal smell and instant results. A+.

3. The Beauty Bash – Looking for a fun, unique event experience or something different to do on your next girls night out? You can actually host your own party at the Benefit Boutique! How fun is that? The Beauty Bash is an exclusive after-hours private party that comes complete with beauty treatments, treats and bubbly!

New from Juicy Couture: I Am Juicy Couture perfume

This perfume has made it’s way into my perfume rotation this summer. I like to switch up my perfume on an ongoing basis and also depending on the season. This scent definitely works for both summer and winter. It’s a good mix of fresh and spicy. The scent combines ripe, juicy fruit with Gardenia and Cashmere Woods. Top notes of Raspberry, Pomelo and Passion Fruit. Middle notes of Gardenia, Heliotrope, Rose de Mai and Sweet Pea. Base notes of Musks, Cashmere Woods and Candied Amber. Plus, the bottle is super cute.

Maybe skin care isn’t really something you give much thought to and maybe you don’t really understand all of the complicated ingredients and maybe you just use whatever looks half decent at the drug store? Avon’s mark. brand is always full of fun new arrivals. I really love these mini nail polishes below. They are perfect for bringing along in your purse to fix chipped nails on the go. The All Butter Now Lip Treat Lipsticks come in the cutest metallic pink packaging and I love displaying them on my vanity. I’m not the biggest user of body oils, but I really loved the scent of the Crushing on Coconut oil. Delish!
