You’re Invited to the 3rd Annual Pink the Town Peony Party!

It’s that time of the year again! I am so beyond excited for the lineup of activities and goodies we’ve secured for this years’ 3rd Annual Pink the Town Peony Party!

 

I’ve always wanted to learn how to bake naked cakes adorned with peonies on top and I figured this was the perfect opportunity! I’m also crazy for the overflowing floral arrangement and I’m excited to do a workshop to master the style. 

 

Come and join us at Le Dolci Cupcakes & Cakes in Toronto on Friday, June 17th at 6pm. Le Dolci will walk us through a mini naked cake baking workshop and Flower Maiden will teach us all how to create overflowing peony arrangements. All guests will leave with a new vase full of flowers and their mini naked cake creations.  Sekai Nail & Beauty Bar will be treating guests to some peony nail art and all guests will take home goodies from L’Occitane & Cherrypick!

 

We’ll also enjoy a summer wine sampling provided by Two Oceans and Saint Clair Family Estates. Mmm! Hope to see you there!

On Sunday, June 28th, I held the second annual Pink the Town Peony party at Le Dolci Cupcakes & Cakes in Toronto. If you missed last year’s Peony Party you can click back HERE to see. This year’s Peony Party included a peony icing workshop led by Le Dolci Cupcakes and Cakes. Then, guests learned how to professionally arrange peony flowers in a workshop led by Flower Maiden. All guests left the event with their icing creations and a pretty pink polkadot vase full of peonies, along with a beautiful mix of other flowers.

Pink the Town Peony Party 6

I think it’s safe to say that June is our favourite month of the year. Not only does June mark the official arrival of summer, but it also means the anticipated arrival of peony season! We wait all year for our favourite flower to finally be in season.

This year, we knew we wanted to celebrate in a big way and what better way to celebrate peony season than with a Pink the Town Peony Party?! And how about having that Peony Party fall on National Pink Day (June 23rd)? What could be more perfect than that?

On Monday, June 23rd, the peony-themed affair came to life at Bicyclette Boutique in Toronto. Sweet Woodruff walked guests through an amazing floral workshop, complete with pink vases and a selection of greenery, roses and some of the biggest and most beautiful peonies we’ve ever seen. Guests learned how to professionally arrange flowers and received some great floral tips and tricks. Guests also enjoyed White Peony tea from David’s Tea and a sweets table complete with peony cupcakes and Parisian macarons courtesy of Le Dolci Cupcakes and Cakes. Peony-inspired manicures we’re given by LUX-SPA and everyone posed in the Beaus & Belles photo booth on the floral backdrop to show off their peony arrangements. Guests also shopped 15% off at Bicyclette Boutique. If you haven’t had the pleasure of shopping at Bicyclette Boutique yet, you must!
