Pink the Town’s Glitter Doughnut Party

This weekend Pink the Town hosted a Glitter Doughnut Party at Le Dolci Cupcakes in Cakes in Toronto. Thanks to all of the lovely ladies that came out to join in the fun!

The event started with chef Emily from Le Dolci walking us all through a doughnut workshop, including making the dough, cutting the doughnut shapes, deep frying the doughnuts and my favourite part – decorating with edible sparkles and glitter!

Guests enjoyed beverages from bottlegreen and new online jewelry boutique, Cherrypick, gifted all of our guests with beautiful pink, sparkly earrings!

We’re very excited to announce that our next Pink the Town event will be a ‘Pretty in Pink’ party in support of breast cancer awareness month! Join us on Saturday, October 18th, from 12:00pm-5:00pm as we help host the ultimate pink-themed occasion at The Pink House in Yorkville, Toronto in partnership with Jeanne Lottie & Yorkville-Forest Hill Real Estate Inc.

 

Treat yourself to pink treats and beverages provided by Le Dolci Cupcakes & Cakes, Skinnygirl and bottlegreen, receive a pink makeup application courtesy of Murale, enjoy a pink mini-manicure from LUX SPA, and take part in our silent auction with amazing items from KitchenAid, Murale, Pure & Simple, Gina Godfrey Gallery, Eleven Elfs, CN Tower, Siam Gallery, The Loved One, Mary Kay and Love Nutrition Co. Guests will enjoy a fashion show put on by BnM Models, Kelechi Achonu, Jeanne Lottie and Y5 Fashion Boutique. The first 100 guests will also take home a pink-filled gift bag full of goodies from Mary Kay, LUX SPA, Murale, Trend Trunk, My Beauty Tea, and GOSH.

 

10% of all sales and all proceeds from the silent auction will be donated to breast cancer research. Guests will also shop 40% off at Jeanne Lottie.

 

We’re also so excited to be giving away a KitchenAid Raspberry Ice Architect® Stand Mixer to one lucky winner from our silent auction. Pink the Town’s Peony Party Event Recap

I think it’s safe to say that June is our favourite month of the year. Not only does June mark the official arrival of summer, but it also means the anticipated arrival of peony season! We wait all year for our favourite flower to finally be in season.

This year, we knew we wanted to celebrate in a big way and what better way to celebrate peony season than with a Pink the Town Peony Party?! And how about having that Peony Party fall on National Pink Day (June 23rd)? What could be more perfect than that?

On Monday, June 23rd, the peony-themed affair came to life at Bicyclette Boutique in Toronto. Sweet Woodruff walked guests through an amazing floral workshop, complete with pink vases and a selection of greenery, roses and some of the biggest and most beautiful peonies we’ve ever seen. Guests learned how to professionally arrange flowers and received some great floral tips and tricks. Guests also enjoyed White Peony tea from David’s Tea and a sweets table complete with peony cupcakes and Parisian macarons courtesy of Le Dolci Cupcakes and Cakes. Peony-inspired manicures we’re given by LUX-SPA and everyone posed in the Beaus & Belles photo booth on the floral backdrop to show off their peony arrangements. Guests also shopped 15% off at Bicyclette Boutique. If you haven’t had the pleasure of shopping at Bicyclette Boutique yet, you must!
