OPI SoftShades 2016 Collection

Pastel nail polishes are my jam. OPI Mod About You has always been my go to shade. So, when the new OPI SoftShades collection landed on my doorstep I couldn’t wait to try them all out. The lineup includes 6 new pastel shades that come in pink, white, yellow, blue, green and purple. 

Have you ever worn yellow nail polish? I’m still not sure how I feel about it. But, I do like the pastel shade from this collection. 

My fav new shade is of course the pink. You need about 3 coats, but the end result is really pretty.

I also adore white nails in the summer. White ensures that everything you wear still matches your nails. I’ve even worn white on my toe nails and the result is the same. Super cute!

OPI 50 Shades of Grey Collection

I’ll be honest. I never made it through the 50 Shades of Grey book. Not exactly my cup of tea. However, that won’t stop me from seeing the movie and it definitely won’t stop me from enjoying the new OPI 50 Shades of Grey collection. I’m a big fan of grey polish and this lineup features 5 new grey polishes. I also love the addition of the blood red. I have two favourites from the lineup. The sparkly grey with flecks of blue and the light grey. Which one is your fav?

Ford Mustang by OPI Collection

This year marks the 50th anniversary of Ford Mustang vehicles and to celebrate, OPI is launching the Ford Mustang by OPI collection. The collection features six new limited edition nail lacquers, including a palette of red, gold, black, pink, white and aqua. The colours are designed to evoke passion, adventure and excitement and all bottle lids will be wrapped with the Ford Mustang logo.

We like the idea of giving our nails the type of shiny, luxurious paint job reserved for cars.  These shades include some of the most popular car colours we see on the road every day and also some bold hues that are great for summer.

If our boyfriends were to ever get excited about nail polish, this may just be it… We love the solid white and black shades best and the liquid gold colour has a really pretty finish. Plus, we’ve been coveting more gold nail polish shades to add to our collection. The Ford Mustang lineup will be available this July. Are any of these shades on your must-try list?
