Whether it’s a weekday, weekend, or holiday, we start every morning the same: in bed, iPhone in hand, scrolling through our bookmarked list of fashion blogs. We just can’t get enough of seeing what stylish new looks our fave bloggers are sporting, and getting inspired to mix and match our own wardrobes in similar ways.
Blair Eadie, the blogger behind Atlantic-Pacific, never fails to motivate us to try a new look. Today, we’re obsessing over the way she successfully mixed two bold and sometimes intimidating elements: neon and leopard.
We took the challenge to find a way to work neon and leopard into our off-duty wardrobe and are ecstatic with the results.
Here’s what we picked:
1.) We prefer a more quiet leopard print, and this peacoat from Zara is just right.
2.) Instead of a chunky lime turtleneck we opted for lemon, which can be more flattering for those of us well into the winter season (read: us pale folk). Try J.Crew‘s Cambridge Cable Turtleneck Sweater.
3.) Because we’re all about adding a little dose of glamour into our everyday, we think this two-finger ring from Bauble Bar is a must.
4.) Interesting sunglasses take any look to new heights, and these round tortoise options from Karen Walker are the perfect choice.
5.) To balance out the look and add a touch of boyish charm, slip on a pair of boyfriend jeans, like this pair from H&M.
6.) A large and light carryall is a weekend essential, and this leather tote from Madewell is a sophisticated option.
7.) Because the season of strappy shoes is now far behind us (sob!) we opted for a look-at-me-bootie, like this option from Zara.
